Int’l Rap Based Film Launched At Cipriani During New York Fashion Week

Richard Victor Mahee industry known as “Mahvrick” is a former Wall Street executive who owns a successful D.C. based financial group with close friends Xavier Phillips and Andre Smith.  He kicks off his new production with an event during Fashion Week at Cirpiani on Park Avenue.  Known for financing, co-producing Music TV, and Iconic Events this past fall “Mahvrick” threw a three (3) day event on the USS Intrepid Museum with Stye Fashion Week and his friend Christine Brenner, Brenner Foundation during New York Fashion Week. Their combined effort started with awareness for a care bag program for homeless U.S. Military Veterans in New York, and the  New Jersey Metro Areas. Mahvrick’s team then launched a career based innovation program for 700 students called KIDS TECH SUMMIT by giving middle school students internships in fashion.

“The Intrepid Fashion Week Event is what I call Real Fun. I want to redefine how people party; do some good while also balling out beyond expectation. So, to kick off 2018 I did it slow but right!  I called on close friends. It was the immense support from friends and partners Chicago House and Techno artist, DJ Mani Midi who just came back from Oslo, Norway after performing the Official After-Party for the Nobel Peace Prize Concert with ‪John Legend. Brooklyn Rapper MaxaMills who plays the Numbers Man in the hit TV series”Money & Violence” We discussed our love for South Asian Culture; Music, Food, and friendships. So really, 2017 encouraged me to film 2018 ALL of It. Sort of like the second time around of a Championship Run, and make it into a major Indy feature. The behind the scene casting of models like Adriana Edwards, and musicians who are involved in our projects from music to our M12 Champagne Campaigns is going to international TV. The working title for both are “50/50,” says Mahvrick.

“The project highlights the course to success in the “Game”. The committed bond that friends have to make things happen in the business,” says Debrandon White, a producer on the project. Some days they live like Kings in Penthouse and Private Jets and the other they are on a couch of a great friend feeding babies in order to make our ideas reality. “50/50 the movie”, stands for many things but 50 Bhangra percent, 50 percent US. Fifty percent You, Fifty Me. A true 50/50 partnership. 50/50 spurred from Mahvrick’s travels between Europe and US. His main focus is #Bhangra.

The project has a strong South Asian focus. Mahvrick spent a lot of time with Tubsy South Asian Drummer The producers have attached industry icons such as mult-platinum producer Carlos Stephens and CEO of 31Minds, who worked on music for Snoop “Gin and Juice II” to Master P “Ice Cream Man”, known as C-Los Beats from Beats by the Pound (247 Million in records sales in 1998), Bhangra Icon Panjabi Mc, J-Son Star (also the son of Music Icon Maurice Star who produced New Kids on the Block with Mark Walhberg). J-Son has produced with Cool and Dre, Scott Storch and other well-known musicians.

“We are working closely with regional stars like W.A.L.T and independent acts that have unique promise regionally like Manganelli aka Trap Manson (Rock Lead Singer/Trap Music), Connecticut based rapper Milliano, and “Spark Gliss” from Long Island based rapper who just finished a project with ‪Keith Murray and managed by Parnell Gervais,” Pramo Virk, UK Casting Director. Over the years “Mahvrick” has co-produced several songs on “The Raj” with South Asian Bhangra star ‪Panjabi MC, he wanted to make a strong push in the Bhangra market. Panjabi Mc produced the “Beware” known as the Night Rider track with ‪Jay-Z and Pharell which is the theme song for the Sasha Cohen movie “the Dictator”. “Morni” off The Raj broke top 5 Billboard World Charts. The project includes a 12 song sound track of South Asian and U.S. collaborations.

Soon millions of fans around the world will be entertained with the NBA All Star Weekend of 2018.  As each year comes and goes, new talent enters, and old talent exits the game.  When players transition to life after basketball, many can’t find financial success and shoot air balls with their money.  This article will 5 provide valid reasons why.

  1. They associate negative feelings with having money.
  2. They rely too much on advisors.
  3. They get comfortable and live for the moment.
  4. They don’t have the discipline to learn financial literacy.
  5. They are not students of self-improvement.

The root of money problems comes from a player’s beliefs and experiences about money growing up.  Such as: arguing over money, not investing money, not saving money, and struggling to make money.  That mental blueprint of money is deeply formed into the bone marrow. 

Look at an orange tree with fruit on it.  It is obvious that, in order to produce the result of an orange, there first must be an orange seed in the ground.   Not pumpkin a seed, or apple seed.  The fruit on the tree is a result of what has been planted.

Shaped in a crystalline form and clad in black volcanic stone that contrasts gold accents in its interior, the project is distinctly contemporary in its aesthetics while insinuating local Balinese motifs. By orienting the suites towards the exterior in the direction of the north-west views, the V-shaped mass maximizes exterior views whilst preserving a small existing temple located towards the back of the site.

Karma Kandara, Phase VI, Bali
Phase VI is the natural extension of the existing Karma Kandara resort masterplan and an ambitious conclusion for this magnificent site. Consisting of various unit typologies including apartments, penthouses and townhouse style villas and to be executed in various sub-phases, the ambitious proposal aims to take full advantage of the natural topography maximizing views and access within the resort. The project is organized around a central communal courtyard which includes various amenity spaces: a lazy pool, a swim-up pool bar and a restaurant, all together establish a new destination within the resort, affording guests and visitors with endless possibilities for social events and gatherings.

On the smallest island of Indonesia’s Gili Archipelagos – Gili Meno – Karma Reef resort is located in an untouched paradise and the most peaceful and under developed of the three Gilli islands.

With 270 meters of frontage towards the sea, the new resort will be organized around a playful radial configuration with Karma Beach Club as its epicenter. Intending to capture the irreplaceable essence of this small idyllic island, the radiating organization allows for the optimization of individual views while creating a unique feeling of cohesion between distinct areas of the resort. The project consists of the extension of Karma Kandara Beach Club, one of the most exclusive and attractive beach clubs on the island. Connected by a wooden bridge across a small stream of water descending from the cliff, the new design extends the local Balinese style of the existing club, blending it with a dynamic composition and a contemporary sense of aesthetics. Responding to the singularity of a unique site, the extension comprises an undulating pool anchored around a natural boulder on one side and a swim-up bar with a conical roof on the other. Mimicking the natural geography of the site, an engaging cloverleaf-shaped bar will create a lively experience as it supports a series of cascading terraces with private cabanas and lounge chairs.

RecruiteX – a hiring trend report by recruitment portal TimesJobs – noted that with overall job market witnessing a rise of 3% in January 2018, key industries and functional areas also posted significant rise in demand. Across experience segments, demand was highest for fresh talent with experience of up to 2 years.

Industry-wise analysis: Petrochemicals sees maximum growth

The petrochemicals sector in India registered 14% rise in hiring in January 2018, followed by 11% rise in talent demand in the infrastructure sector. The travel and hospitality sector saw a 7% rise in talent demand.

“Booming demand for niche skill sets saw organisations increasingly look at fresh talent who fits the bill. According to news reports, hiring is expected to remain optimistic for 2018 in line with projected gross domestic product (GDP) growth of 5.2% this year, and the rise in recruitment index for January 2018 clearly indicates expected growth.
